This tutorial provides a basic example of Butyl Tape Deck Re-Bedding which is arguably better than sealing deck equipment with the more widely known silicone sealant method. Notably, marine silicone sealants are often messy and expensive where as Butyl tape as easy to apply and lasts longer.
