    I am looking for a wooden mast for my 22′ wooden sailing boat project.

    Mast needs to be about 31′ long (a bit longer is OK, but no shorter than 29′) and about 5″ in diameter at the foot and first 4-5′ up from there.

    Otherwise, I’m going to have to build one which – while fun – would be costly and time-consuming.

    I’ve built several small boats (2 kayaks, a small tender and a sailing dinghy) using epoxy from Fyne Boat Kits which is both very good value and easy to work with. Otherwise East Coast Fibreglass is a very good supplier.

    I get it from a local timber merchant – Talbot Timber in Pembroke Dock.
