Pros - What Is Included / Condition?
This listing is for an Oldenbourg 17, a 17ft fibreglass cabin cruiser with a Volvo Penta Inboard. Its overall length is 5.18 meters/ 17ft. The width approximately 2.13 m - 6.9ft/ Draft is 0.3 / 0.9ft making it ideal for inland waterways, rivers, canals, lakes, sports, fishing. The trailer has heavy-duty wheels and tyres are is is in OK condition with a new hitch jockey wheel. I can dig out the lights board. She comes with fenders, cabin door, chain anchor, shore link cable. The engine is volvo aq145, 4 cylinder 2.4l (service parts are available) It has oil and water but has not been run a awhile. She's not been ran in saltwater but I recommend a service. There is a bilge pump, extractor, volvo manual and invoices of work done in past. I have everything to make a complete boat ie fuel tank, new canopy and frame, drivers seat, cushions, new prop and rope cutter all stored but am currently limited by time restrictions. Ideally I am looking to sell everything as a complete project and I think £1000 ono is a reasonable price. I know the canopy was 900 and the prop is brand new.
Cons - What Needs Work / Condition?
Essentially it needs a new floor, bulkhead, seating for passengers and new hatch covers plus some electrical work. The Hull is an OK condition and the engine was done some years ago but not run in the water. I have a new canopy and prop. It is on an old trailer in my garden and has nt been on the briny. It would definitely be a good project with not too much to do providing you have the technical knowledge.
