Happy March Folks! I do apologise for the lack of updates, you haven’t missed much. I’ve been job hunting and interviewing and such like things and I’ve gone and got myself an employment upgrade, it’ll be a few more boat tokens a month and more civilized hours, hurray! So back to Merganser, the 3D printed brush cover for the motor came out excellent and despite my nerves that the prop shaft was a touch too short and I’d have to extend it to get the motor aligned, it turns out it’ll slot in like a dream! I’ve been stocking up on assorted paint stripping tools and had a very successful test of the poly woven angle grinder wheels, does a bit of damage to the glass but it’ll be far less time consuming to fair it than to remove the sticky paint carefully. We’ll get back to the fun stuff soon, weather permitting of course.
